- The Catskill Community Garden Club 7 Annual Garden Tour- from Andes to New Kingston, Clovesville, Fleischmanns and RoxburyFree to members, $5 non-membersTour begins at 9am. Bring a bag lunch,( water will be provided) & take a break at the Pavilion in Margaretville at 12noon, and go on The Historical Walking tour of Margaretville at 12:30 with the Historical Society of Midddletown docent. The Skene Memorial Library in Fleischmanns will be holding a garden tour of 7 Gardens in Fleischmanns, Red Kill and Halcott on Saturday June 26. Tickets are $10 each, available that morning at 9:30 AM at the Library. Each garden has its own time-slot, with the entire tour expected to last six hours. A map/flyer listing the gardens to be visited will come with the ticket.
In the face of a major loss in NY State funding and an announced cut in funding from Margaretville Central School, Skene Library has had to increase its fund-raising efforts.
